DINOSAUR DAy At the NEWARK MUSEUM Saturday, May 2, noon – 4:30 pm
This is the 8th installment of Dinosaur Day at the Newark Museum, featuring fun educational activities for kids and the dinosaur lover in all of us.

Come see a 15’ interactive T-Rex courtesy of “Field Station: Dinosaurs” accompanied by the Dinosaur Troubadour, singing songs that everyone will want to join in. Enjoy geological demonstrations provided by scientists from Rutgers, the State University of NJ, and the NJ Paleontological Society. Kids will have fun while they learn with the Tsunami Tank, specimen touch table and Geo Treasure hunt. Step inside the Hurricane Simulator and experience winds up to 78 miles per hour. Nickelodeon character Diego will be there for photo-ops with you and your kids. (Bring your camera.) There will also be face painting, Dinosaur Origami, Planetarium shows and lots more at the Newark Museum’s 8th Annual Dinosaur Day, Saturday, May 2. Parking is available on-site & nearby for a fee.
