THE AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

EARTHFLIGHT - Ongoing thru March 8, 2018
Earthflight takes viewers on a virtual flight across the world through the eyes of birds. The film is narrated by Academy Award winning actress Cate Blanchett. It was filmed in 11 countries and took four years to develop. This film is a must see for nature lovers.

ADVENTURE AQUARIUM

SHARK BRIDGE - Ongoing through 2018
Shark Bridge is an experience like no other. In this exhibit 30 sand tiger, sandbar and nurse sharks are kept in a 33,000 gallon tank with a suspension bridge hovering over the surface. Visitors who are brave enough, can walk over the bridge and view the sharks in a very unique way. The bridge is 81 feet long and provides a behind the scenes look at the Adventure Aquarium.

ALL NEW EXHIBITS

Imagine That! Has recently reopened and features new exhibits such as a pirate ship, arts and crafts room and sensory activities. There is a huge Lite Brite wall where children can create beautiful light pictures. All of the original exhibits remain intact. Children will be entertained for hours when they visit this indoor playground and museum.

INSECTROPOLIS

BUG UNIVERSITY
Ongoing through 2018
Insectropolis is home to a vast array of little creepy crawlers. Featuring a host of many interactive exhibits, visitors will want to begin their journey through Bug City at the University. Learn how scientists classify living things, the characteristics of insects, visit the class pets and more. Once students graduate, they can then move on to explore the rest of this one-of-a-kind museum.

LIBERTY SCIENCE CENTER

THOMAS AND FRIENDS- EXPLORE THE RAILS - Ongoing through May 13, 2018
Thomas and Friends: Explore the Rails is great for children as old as 8. The exhibit helps young children practice various skills such as counting, identifying colors and more through play. Older children can learn about basic engineering, science and how engines work. The display takes the visitor into the world of Sudor with Thomas the Tank Engine.

MORRIS MUSEUM

MUSEUM DETECTIVES: WHAT IS IT? - Through February 18, 2018
Become a detective at the Morris Museum. Visitors will be presented with various objects from the museum. Detectives then try to figure out the origins of the objects. When were they discovered or made? What was it used for? This exhibit will keep everyone on their toes and truly entertained!

NEW JERSEY STATE MUSEUM

HEARTH AND HOME - Now through September 9, 2018
Learn about the different homes and daily life of native people from North America. The exhibit takes place during the 1930s and features real artifacts. Visitors will be taken into the Native American experience and learn about their culture, traditions, family life and how they adapted to the changing world around them.

DYNAMIC EARTH: REVEALING NATURE’S SECRETS - Ongoing through 2018
The interactive exhibit covers topics such as earthquakes, bird migration, rain forest exploration, volcanoes and so much more. Various hands on displays show how the Earth and all of the species that inhabit it, evolved. The exhibit makes visitors feel completely immersed in the transformation of our world over the years with many activities including video games and a walk through cave.

SID THE SCIENCE KID: THE SUPER-DUPER EXHIBIT -  February 3 through May 6, 2018
Sid the Science Kid is brought to life at the Please Touch Museum. Children can explore Sid’s house, school and playground where they experience science through Sid’s eyes. The Super Fab Lab at Sid’s school is an exciting place for children to learn and discover more about science. This interactive exhibit is sure to please every science lover.

The Grammy Museum is full of music related interactive exhibits. Make Your Own Music gives visitors the chance to experience the music making process through the eyes and ears of the performer.

TUCKER’S ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE - Ongoing through 2018
The Tucker’s Island Lighthouse is a reproduction of the original lighthouse of 1868. The lighthouse has photos, shipwreck stories, beautiful views and even a huge Tuckerton Railroad model train exhibit.
