Full credit and elective classes for High School students
If your child is looking to take their academic performance to the next level, the Summer Academy at Saddle River Day School may be the perfect solution. This innovative program offers High School students the opportunity to hone their skills and deepen their understanding in a range of academic subjects, with classes offered in hybrid format so all may choose to join in person or remotely.
The Summer Academy allows students to enroll in courses and receive instruction from Saddle River Day School's experienced faculty. Classes include full-credit advancement and elective courses, semester-credit electives, and non-credit enrichment courses. These are designed to build on the knowledge and skills students already have and take them to the next level. Students can choose from a variety of core subjects, English, math, science, and history, as well as electives such as graphic arts, cooking, and speech and debate, to name a few.
The Summer Academy provides an immersive learning experience that is both challenging and fun. Students are encouraged to interact with their peers and faculty members, engage in hands-on activities, and participate in projects. This allows them to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject matter.
The Summer Academy at Saddle River Day School will run Monday-Friday, beginning June 26th, 2023. This program is an ideal opportunity for students to get ahead throughout the summer and prepare for the upcoming school year. SRDS is located in Bergen County at 147 Chestnut Ridge Rd in Saddle River, NJ.
