New Jersey Water Parks

Perhaps you aren’t a fan of the sand? Cool off from the summer heat at a Water Park where you can find hair-raising fun for older children and tamer spray zones for the younger set.  Some suggestions:

Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor and Outdoor Water Park offers families of the greater Tri-State community affordable, high value entertainment the entire year with 58 of its 68-thousand square feet under a retractable roof system. Park features include arcade systems, surfing simulators, the world's tallest ropes course, numerous water attractions, slides and a 2-acre outdoor  The Beach Club.  535 N. Route 73, West Berlin

Mountain Creek, Vernon – Ready for some adventure? Take a white water raft trip, a tube ride through twists, turns and darkness, or a 23-foot plunge off Canyon Cliffs.  For the more faint of heart, there is also a lazy river, tamer tube rides and an interactive sprayground.  200 Rte. 94, Vernon. 

Tomahawk Lake Water Park, Sparta – Chose from a half dozen different water slides, including a 610-foot, 4 person flume raft ride, 503ft serpentine slide into a 7-foot lake, and 400ft speed slide. For the younger set, cool off in Papoose Land.  Lake activities include bumper boat, rowboats and paddleboats.  155 Tomahawk Trail, Sparta.

Splash Zone Waterpark,  Wildwood – Hold on for an exhilarating ride as you torpedo down one of the parks fast paced slides.  Looking for something a bit slower-paced? Head over to the lazy river or the Hydro–Zone. For smaller guests, visit Zoe Zone, with pint-sized slides, geysers and soft play equipment.  3500 Boardwalk, Wildwood.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Jackson – Located adjacent to Six Flags Great Adventure, this park has it all: rides for the daredevil - including the Tornado where ride-goers drop more than seven stories into a 60-foot-tall, 132-foot-long water funnel - and fun for the less adventurous. Kids of all ages will love relaxing on a tube ride down the lazy river and splashing in the 1,000,000-gallon wave pool.  1 Six Flags Boulevard, Jackson

Keansburg Runaway Rapids, Keansburg – Across the street from Keansburg Amusement Park, families will enjoy the waterslides, lazy river, spray ground and sunbathing area. Joint admission prices to both amusement park and Runaway Rapids available.  275 Beachway Ave, Keansburg

Clementon Park Splash World, Clementon – Located about 30 minutes from Philadelphia, the park has both wet and dry rides.  New in 2012: Big Wave Bay Pool: ride the waves in this 23,000 square foot pool, relax on a tube, or sunbathe on the beach.  Other water highlights include high-speed slides, a lazy river, little kiddie spray park, and more!  Non-aquatic rides including roller coasters, carousel and Ferris wheel.  

Raging Waters, Wildwood - Water fun for all ages from a 1,100 Foot Endless River, Rocket Raft Tube Slides, rope swings, fountain pools and speed slides.  Little ones will love Lil' Dipper pool area and Shipwreck Shoals children's play area.   3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood

Breakwater Beach Waterpark - Kids of all ages will enjoy the water at our outdoor waterpark attractions.  Wave pool, aqua drop, lazy river, Nantucket Bucket, tube slides, and more.  800 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights

Crystal Springs Water Park, East Brunswick -   The state-of-the-art aquatic facility includes seven water amenities: Recreational Pool, Lap Pool, Splash Pad, Kiddie Pool, Activity Pool, Lazy River and Water Slides.  334 Dunhams Corner Rd., East Brunswick.

Coco Keys Water Park,  Mount Laurel -   Over 55,000 sq. ft. of indoor water park, 150,000 gallons of water, state of the art arcade.  915 Route 73, Mt Laurel.

Hershey Park, Hershey, PA – Cool off after a morning of high-speed coasters and thrill rides and head over to The Boardwalk at Hershey Park featuring slides, water playground, wave pool, lazy river and more! Admission to Park includes amusement park and water park.
