NJ Kids Book Review: Llama Llama Red Pajama

Posted by: NJ Kids Team - July 10, 2012

Enjoy the newest sensation among toddlers and preschoolers. Dewdney has created a loveable character, Llama Llama, who experiences common issues that little ones can relate to. In the first book of this wonderful character series, Llama Llama Red Pajama, Llama Llama is tucked into bed only to start worrying when Mama Llama goes downstairs. As his fretting grows into hollering, Mama Llama runs into his bedroom and soothes little llama and explains sometimes mama is busy but that she is always near. Parent and child will enjoy the rhythmic melody of the Llama Llama series. This is an excellent book to have your child complete the last word of each rhyming phrase because the words are disyllabic and are recalled with ease.
