About our STEM & Tech Summer Camps

Offering the hottest in tech equipment, engaging curriculum, and top-tier instructors, THE R CHILD's camps ensure your child enjoys the most exclusive summer experience. THE R CHILD’s Robotics and STEAM camps are an in-demand, world-class educational opportunity that speaks to kids' interests, helping them level up their skills and gain a competitive edge for school, college, and beyond. Summer Camps: June 23rd - August 29th
Hours: 9am-3pm. Before and after care available: 8-9am, 3 - 5pm
Ages: 5 - 14 years old, different age groups are available
Skill-Level: beginner-advanced

Activities:

• Robotics: Lego Robotics, VexIQ Robotics, Aerial Drone Robotics, Arduino
• Coding: Coding with Minecraft Education, Scratch Coding, Game Design in Roblox and Game Maker, Coding with Python Minecraft Coding, Minecraft Build Challenges, Minecraft Modding
• 3D Printing: 3D Printing with Tinkercad, 3D Modeling in Blender, Laser Cutting
• Arts & Design: Digital art, Visual Arts, ANIMATION, stop motion animation

Other STEAM subjects and activities:

Biology Physics Archeology Paleontology Astronomy Geography History Makerspace, Outdoor Recess and more!

Daily Schedule:

• 9am- check in
• 9:15 am - STEM Kickoff, introducing the week’s theme and daily activities
• 10am - Morning STEM LABS. All campers begin their day with robotics or aerial drone program labs. Then younger children transition to another activity with a short snack break while older children finish up their more complex builds. Campers Work individually and in groups exploring teamwork and creativity
• 12pm Lunch time to connect with friends (lunch packed from home or ordered from our partner services)
• 12:30pm - Outdoor recess time to run around, stay active, and explore outdoor science experiments
• 1:30pm - Afternoon STEM Labs: Afternoon STEAM labs vary daily but are themed according to the week's theme. Activities may range from biology and astronomy to game design and visual arts.
• 2:30pm - project sharing / clean up
